I like the vocals because it is all pretty much gibberish. |
If only there were no vocals. I can't stand vocals, regardless of the language. Seriously, it's fine to have in one or two soundtracks, like an ending, an intro, or a montage...but during gameplay? Major no no for me.
Then again, it could my nostalgia talking. I've always preferred old-school arcade-ish music, if you know what I mean. I can't think of many modern games that have this, as they usually aim for cinematic kind of music. I don't mind cinematic music (there's quite a number of them that are good), but I prefer arcade-ish music mostly. Two games that come to mind which blend modern music with that arcadey music are Metal Gear Solid (first one, with some tracks from 2), and Bully.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
