That was a derailed arguement, and a stupid debate. Of course graphics don't reflect quality. Metroid Prime 3 was one of my favorite games this gen, and well it's a Wii game. Alan Wake and Heavy Rain for fun as hell too.

Graphics may affect sales, but that is likely just a correlation between big budget games and games that sell.

I'd actually say Prime 3, Alan Wake and Heavy Rain are all really great looking.  Art always trumps tech.
