Cryo - in America, firearms are used in self defense succuessfully, ALOT.
Goto litterally any NRA website, and they usually have news tickers around the US, with stories every day of concealed carry firearm owners diffusing the situations (alot of criminals back off from attacking someone if they see a citizen have a firearm).
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
