I would be looking at the medium of games here. There are a lot of other mediums for expression, but my focus is games as a medium. I know "immersion" has been said, and I wanted to ask about that. Assume that the Star Trek: Next Generation Holodeck appears. Would what you do in that environment be considered a "game" (not saying you couldn't play a game in it, but wondering about the experience itself)? I would say it is a form of play, but are all forms of play "games"?
