Have you ever seen those games? As far I see from videos, motion controls weren't added to the games. I don´t play JRPG besides Pokemon (the olds) and righ now I want to play Xenoblade and The Last Story. Maybe because the gameplay, or the art style, or the fields. The platform doesn't matter.
