I am torn between what's a bigger insult to literature, Harry Potter series or the Twilight series, both are mediocre foundation English yet sell like hotcakes. Just goes to show the product does not necessarily has to be good to sell well.. I have hopes for my "stick on a string" idea.

The Harry Potter books are children's books, so they're pretty good for what they are. And I actually remember reading that the last 2 books in the series recieved quite a bit of critical acclaim.

Hmm true, if it were on the same lines as Twilight I am sure Harry would have already ripped Hermiones clothes and had a sexual intercourse instead of running around like a little pervert complaining about his life. It's the cohorts of adults who proclaim that it's the next best thing since sliced bread that are misleading as to what the target audience of those books is.

LOl, true, especially after she had her teeth fixed.

"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."
