The Mayan Calender in question is an astronomical marker.
The discovery of a misinterpretation comes from the issue that it's an astronomical observance difference between North and South hemisphere. The North Hemisphere has already had the astronomical event occur. It wasn't that noticeable.
Asteroid X, Planet X, Nibiru. Nancy fucking Lieder. Is in "contact" with aliens who talk to her and through her(she's a charlaton). She has made the claim of a giant body crashing into the Earth in 1999, 200X and again in 2012. In the first two prediction were hers alone. However some Lieder fanatic put 1 1 and got 7. Stithinson predicts that their is a small planet that orbits the system and comes very close to Earth. He calls it nibiru. Some one decided to merge them. However Stitchinson predicts the next passing is in the late 3000 not any where near 2012.
2012 the Self Fufilling Prophecy
I love reading this it's a blast. However after reading LOTS of material. there is far to much contradiction. You would also be surprised how more than 70% of the Material is based on Nancy Leider material. However it doesn't matter the phony is BS. What matters is that the level of belief in her BS is incredibly high. It's a possibility that humanity may end up having their first shift of change come 2012 due to the internet and a different way of thinking. Though I don't believe that there will be a Cataclysm.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
