The OP didn't word it well, but I think he means home console RPG. To which I reply that it won't be possible for it to outsell DQ or FF, I'd say it won't outsell the best selling Tales of game.

Wii is the wrong console for a game of this kind to become a massive hit, and it's actually arriving too late to make an impact.

Well, DQX might have something to say about that.
