No, not all right-wingers feel this way.. but I still believe Huckabee is a right-wing zealot.
The "graceful submission" criticism of Huckabee is warranted, in my opinion, because he was one of the signers of the ad which appeared in USA today which says this. Not only that, but the part he signed states ...
“You are right because you called wives to graciously submit to their husband’s sacrificial leadership.”
He also served as head of this organization at the state level. I don't see how this has been taken out of context.. Huckabee and the Southern Baptist Convention are, of course, free to believe/say whatever they want -- but I think this position is far removed from mainstream modern thought. I believe husbands and wives are equal partners and most people in the US and Europe would agree with me. Clearly, Huckabee does not.
Again, I did not claim Bush is a dictator. I do not believe he will stage a coup in order to maintain power in 2009.
