The ones on N64 were awful, IMO.

So it gets points from me.
One of THE best game soundtracks ever made. Yes, EVER.
Now, the ones on the NES, and SC4 on the SNES, as well as Rondo of Blood? Freakin' classics.
"Metroidvania" was also great stuff. Sadly, that's when the series went downhill (aside from the DS and GBA games).
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
