I feel that the announcement of a PS3 version was too rushed and unexpected, we know EA needs money after its horrible financial results. It will be interesting to see how well or bad it sells, especially Mass Effect 3.

I don't think either game underperformed. I suspected this as soon as EA bought Bioware. They've been hurting for a hit and Mass Effect was just too much of a sure thing to keep it tied to one console. I think my exact words were "I don't see a scenario where Mass Effect 2 COULD remain exclusive." or something like that. It's the EA way.
