| Parasitic said: Honestly, i'm kinda inbetween whether duping is wrong or somewhat justified... It's already common knowledge that the rewards in GT5 are horrible. There's not too much incentive to buy 10-12 million credit cars such as the F10 or F2007 when they can't even be used in A/B-spec modes. And it doesn't make sense that the stupidly fast X1 can not only be used in all gametypes, but even online also. There's also probably not much incentive to buy the 15-20 mill oldschool cars because of their insane cost. It'd be different if there was a variety of high-reward events so that players would feel less inclined to grind to save up money, but that's not the case. Some people just don't have the time or motivation to raise that kind of money, only to be completely broke afterwards and start having to grind for cash again.
Tons of people B-Spec'd to lvl30 to unlock the X1 challenge. Others just grinded the same events in the same car. You really won't get the experience to handle tougher cars doing any of that. It doesn't take long to learn how to drive a car. Mastering it is a completely different thing. At this point, I don't think owning an X1/Mark IV/etcetc is really a matter or pride or gloating anymore. It's really just about car appreciation and driving just for the fun of it. As mentioned before, there's plenty of car enthusiasts that are more interested in the driving rather than "the game", but just don't have the time.
Anyways, I now have my main account along with 3 alts that'll be able to send an unlimited amount of 5 chrome paints a day. I'm definitely willing to share some but also don't really wanna whore them out either: members with super low post counts won't be gettin as much love as the regulars around here : p |
Speak for yourself.
I really laugh at this kind of comment. You don't know what is to actually see the "You obtained X1 Prototype Card" in the GT Life screen after spending days trying to gold the X1 challenge.
Not only that, but the X1 challenge separates those who actually take their time to improve their skills from those who just want an easy ride in the game. Also, it's not only until you actually gold that event that you actually have a shot at the platinum in GT5.
Anyway, as I always said, I would love to race a duped X1 online...nah, make it better, 15 other duped X1's online. It would be hilarious to see everyone trying to stay on track with it xD.
