It was pretty good. A little better then gta4. Not as good as Fallout nv even with all the bugs.

I would have given Fallout NV a 9 if it hadn't crashed 10 times, next to deadlocking the main quest having to revert back several hours to an old save.

Exploring in RDR wasn't rewarding at all, just stick to the missions and you'll get everywhere. At least it ran smoothly, was pretty to look at, had great music, and the story presentation was decent. Gameplay and flow of the story were lacking. (But that's a problem with all open world games, pretty much booting you out after every mission then pretending they haven't seen you in ages when you start the next mission 5 seconds later)

RDR did one thing really well, the horse animations. Riding a horse in AC brotherhood just looks akward now.
