What a shame then that his term expires in January 2009 regardless.
Really, where do you people think Bush gets this sort of power from? His critics speak freely (and a great many of them thrive), his party lost lost it's hold of Congress (and that was tenuous to begin with), he failed to slip radioactive isotopes in the food of the liberal SC justices to ensure a conservative majority (current it's 4:4 with 1 swing vote), and he couldn't even rig an election to give him a sweeping victory (really, what sort of genius would rig the 2000 election to come down to a few hundred votes in 1 county in Florida???), ad with just1 year left to go has yet to begin the process needed to overturn the 22nd Ammendment.
