Nope, it still feels like an Hollywood-style HD game to me, but on the Wii. I'm not a big fan of those kind of games because there's barely any replay value involved most of the time. It's even worse if it's just a single player game! They focus on the flashy stuff and forget about the most important stuff, which is gameplay...

And gameplay is where Metroid shines (or used to). What I wanted was Metroid, as in the staples of the series (good atmosphere, MUSIC mostly, exploration, no random anime clichés, etc.). Too many things bugged me in this game, and if this is how Sakamoto views Samus, then I want none of it. I have a feeling that they wanted to make Metroid japanese with this game instead of just neutral like the other ones. A good sci-fi story would have been enough, but it had to be Matrix-y and all... Ugggh.

It's a good game, just not a good Metroid game to me. Simple as that.

*EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to add something. I don't understand how Nintendo thought going from Metroid Prime's enormous scale and scope to this smaller handheld-like console game was a good idea.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
