I don't need HD for my Wii as I still use a normal old SD TV. My 2 (soon 3) year old son loves to poke the screen with his fingers, so I won't get an HD flatscreen TV until this "phase" is over.
I'm pretty sure the next generation Nintendo console will be HD, though. Maybe until then I'll have a nice HD TV to go with it.
