Given we don't have a HD TV in the house, never mind one in my room where the Wii is I have no need for a HD Wii.
Next gen consoles I won't have to consider it as they will all be able to output HD anyway, but if the next Nintendo console didn't it might affect my decision as I reckon in 5 years time i'll probably have a new TV. (hopefully in my own house)
