I reckon they take the day off down the pub and just have a laugh surfing the net for fun reading the responses.
There reviews as written are very good I think, but they do struggle to be consistent with the score they apply at the end, which can vary in content a lot by reviewer and genre. I think they'd rather not have the score at all but feel they need to slap one on because everything needs a score these days.
I wish they'd drop them altogether. Imagine, having to read the entire review and judge for yourself whether the game sounds good to you...
They recognized the brilliance of Halfe Life 2 (in various forms) plus LittleBigPlanet so that's enough for me. Given every preview says LittleBigPlanet 2 is better in every way then LBP I guess the odds must be good that, as with Super Mario Galaxy, we could be looking at two straight 10s for the each iteration.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
