It'd be pretty pointless to merely upgrade to a WiiHD as there's already a 1000 games out that won't support the HD and probably few new ones would either as too few people would have the HD model.
Unless it's a completely new system, in which case it'd have to be in HD as the vast majority of people now own HD TVs. Doesn't have to push ultra realistics graphics though, just better graphics and 1080p, (and probably 3d). The best thing about a new system would be that companies could port their PS3/360 games over.
