We don't have exact numbers but GT4 sold somewhere between 600k-1 million in the UK. GT5 is just below 600k ATM and will probably reach close to 800k by the end of the year, especially with Boxing Day falling on the last week of the year again. It probably won't reach 1 million in 2 months but it should pass it pretty easily some time next year.
