each ps3 is slightly diffrent old 60gbs would suck from back and front and blow out the side
once the 40gb came out they changed it
use tissue paper to see whats going on you may not feel anything by hand
seeing your pic up there i dont think it would suck much any further b/c the BR drive is there no room for ventilation even thought there are vents there but try to use tissue paper in that area once you leave the console on long enough
