I can't vouch for Odin Sphere but I hear that it's a lot like Vanillaware's more recent hack-n-slash 2D RPG Muramasa. And I can really recommend Muramasa (if you like 2D hack n slash). If you like 2D hack n slash, then definitely give Odin Sphere some consideration since you already own it.
