You don't buy your wat to good sales. And NEITHER format has good sales. The best releases for both sides sell less than 2% of their DVD counterparts.
Yet by your logic, Sony did the same, as they sold the PS3 for huge losses at first.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
