I don't agree. A huge mistake Sony made with PS1/PS2 was not having heavy hitters (huge proportion of console sales) and not having the well selling games first party. That way, all the casual PS2 players didn't have much to recognize the brand by. It'll be hard to bring older gamers from then back now. That's one of the much better things Sony's doing this generation though, :D. |
No realy ^^ The age of anual home consols is dying and Sony and Microsoft know thta because there part of the reason. As the internet gets faster things such as online are going to kill home consols for good. Nintendo's gamble to make a new consol that does something different wont work because it could easily be mimicked in an instant for things such as onlive. The problem for nintendo is sony and microsoft are started sing cloud based technoligy long befoe anyone evn thought of it for games. if i had to guess id say next gen either sony of microsoft are going to join or apple is gona join with one of them. none of the big three have enough money to fund the growing costs of development expeshaly in a world where technoligy advances so quickly. The playstation brand howvere wether the people who got it or not liked it os the most well none gaming platform in the world. EVERYONE who knows what gaming is will know what a playsation is and may know what a wii is.
If like i and many toher think gaming i going cloudi think nintendo will have to change to being a software company. they simply dont have the resorces to match other cloud networks, as theywould have to start from scrath or payu a incredible amount of money to gte it off someone else. im gona make a thjread about this know ^^
Yeah i know my spelling sucks but im dysgraphic so live with it :3
