Will Nintendo Create New franchises?

In last 10 years sony have made looads of new series with completly new charecters. god of war, ucnharted, ratchet and clank, infamous, etc. its a loong list. they funded and help create all of these with the intention of satisfying peoples need for new games. Nintendo continued to make loads of mario, mario, zelda, mario, zelda, pokemon oh and did i mention mario? ^^ And no i dotn like microsoft. But atleats they made fable etc

i thought Sony just bought new companies that made new games does that mean they made them?  :P
