Just going after Fox news is hypocritical when you ignore the other news outlets.

Do the other news outlets misinform? Probably. Did they go after Obama as hard as they did Palin? I don't think so. But even then, no matter what party you're from, I think we can agree Sarah Palin wasn't very knowledgeable in many aspects of the presidency.

The reason Fox News needs to be held accountable is because they claim to be "fair and balanced" which is ridiculous (having Juan Williams doesn't make you balanced), they get the most viewers out of all 3 major news organization, and they are apparently the most "trusted" name in news.

I have no Idea if President Obama is more knowledgeable then palin. He didn't have more experience.

And you don't find the bold part troubling?  The media was like huge snow plows pushing all the negative info out of the way so President Obama can drive his limo up to the white house.

And why don't you have as much passion for the other news outlets? It's short sighted and misses the big picture

To be fair, the media did originally go after Obama as bad as they did Palin... however then George Stephanopolis basically spent an entire hour and a half of a democratic primary debate on Hilary Clinton talking points about Obama's sketchy past.  (Reverend Wright, Ayers etc.) and the reaction was so negative the press got scared and treated him with kid gloves... up until about 6 weeks before the Republicans swooped in, and even then I wouldn't say they'd taken off the training wheels.

 

It's Bush after 9/11 all over again... but without the backlash that swung way to far the other way.
