Look at Wii's bestselling game. Wii Sports. No? Wii Play. New franchise. Look at DS' bestselling game. Nintendogs. New franchise.

Really, the most work Nintendo's put into is new franchises. Sure, they've added on to old franchises as well, but don't pretend that everyone doesn't do that. New franchises are always second priority. For everyone.

He meens a new character. Not incredibly low budget games they make just to weasel more money out of people ^^

That's just trolling, >.>.

Just because Nintendo doesn't throw money down a black hole like Sony did with the PS3 doesn't mean that it doesn't make games well. They make them cheaply, but they actually make them well.

Oh, and GT5 is just as much for weaseling the money out of your wallet as Nintendogs for mine. No less, no more.

Finally, Miis are new characters. And so are Nintendogs. Like it or not.

Sony knew they would lsoe money with ps3 but it would lead them tio win with blu-ray = win. LOL gt5 isnt a weasel for money what so ever XD. by that i meen with lets say wii music if prob cost them MAX 1 million 2 make and prob just 1 or 2 months. gt5 costs over $60 million and 6 years to make. weather or not u like gt5 it its obviously not just trying tio make a fats buck.

I supose in your mind then playstation home charecters are new characters aswell. Mii's just like PSHome character are what is commonly referd to as "cheap shit" XD

That was their intention, but it didn't exactly work, did it? Bluray, though not failing, is not doing nearly enough to recover the losses from PS3, and never will. Sony's pretty much been at its worst in the years after the PS3.

Anyway, that is, like it or not, the job of a game. Video games are a business. They're made almost solely, if not solely, for making money. If GT5 took far too long to develop and cost a pretty penny, it's doing things wrong. It's really nothing to admire. It's still trying to make a "fats buck" and apparently not doing that well at it either, >.>.

Oh, and if PS home characters appear in a lot of the console's most popular games, then sure, they're new characters, :D.
