Strange. One of the times it froze for me, I had pressed L3 really high and was letting myself crash to the ground. It froze.
When I went back in, I was exactly in the same spot and was still falling. Lost nothing. 
PS - Im kind worried cause last night it froze when I was using the item to go to the Vault. I don know if I will lose it or nor.
