The very first thing you learn when you take a research class is that people HATE saying "I don't know."

You could make up a question that his completly fictional like

"Did Alexander the Great say his favorite color was Red or Blue" and a great number of people will say either Red or Blue, even though such an event never occured.

Looking back at the polls, it is odd that they didn't provide an "undecided" or "no opinion" category. That could skew the results because people who do not know the answer will just guess. It probably is the case that many  of the people were not misinformed. They were probably ignorant about the issues and just guessed.

I woulda got a majority of those questions wrong, and I woulda got them wrong if I watched Fox, CNN, or MSNBC because I could really care less about worthless legislation that gets passed...what makes me happier is when nothing gets passed.
