When people say his rage is blind, they do not mean he has no reason for wanting revenge. They mean his feelings of being wronged have blinded him to the consequences of his actions. Kratos wants revenge, and he is willing to do anything to accomplish this goal regardless of how his actions affect others. In other words, Kratos desire for revenge consumes him to such an extent that he only recognizes the consequences of his actions in so far as they help him reach his end goal.
