I remember the first time I had a teleconference with a biotech company out of Germany that we were doing some contract work for:
It was morning for us, and late afternoon there and I saw people smoking and I would SWEAR I saw a beer mug on the table. This was probably 10 years ago, so this may not be the case anymore.
Regardless...I was SO jealous.
