What? Since when did Nomura make FF? He only made character designs for them.
I don't think character designs alone makes a game his. The only games you can blame on him are the ones from the Kingdom Hearts Franchise or for a movie Advent Children. He was only a character designer for FF7,8,10, X-2,11. So I don't see any reason for you to blame FF on him.
What I want from a game.
Gameplay > Story > Content > Graphics
Visual Style > Graphics
Smooth Camera, Intuitive Controls
Friction! When everything feels right!
