I'm not really a Football fan. I've always been a Baseball and Hockey guy. As a kid though, when I played sports videogames I usually played as the "best" teams or my home team. For Baseball that would be the Braves and the Cardinals and for Hockey, the Red Wings and the Blues.
Football wasn't that much different other than the fact that St. Louis didn't have a professional team at the time. I'm pretty sure I played as the 49ers or the Cowboys. So it's safe to say that if I had to pick a favorite team back then, it would have been one of those two.
When it comes to real life though, I only ever root for my home town team. So when St. Louis got the Rams, I became a Rams fan and that won't change no matter who is #1
And being a Blues fan proves my point. They've never won a Stanley Cup but I'm still always rooting for them (Thank God I'm not a Cubs fan).
