Yeah it's really helpful. One thing to watch out for is that the wheel fights you, but once you get used to that you should see your times come down. Much greater control over how much you throttle/brake, not to mention smoother turns. Play a nascar track with the DS3, then try again with the wheel, you'll be amazed.

I hate how the frigging wheel fights me...

It made the nascar special event with cones a lot easier, but anything else isn't really easier right now...( heck the nascar races are harder)

You'll eventually get used to the wheel's feedback; and at some point soon the benefit you geYout from finer throttle/brake control will outweigh the negatives from wheel feedback, and of course eventually you wont even think of the feedback anymore.

 

One thing though... don't go offroading with the wheel. It's really bumpy. You'd think your wheel's broken at first.
