You have to stop eating more calories than you burn each day. In order to lose weight, exercise is not necessary...but it does help...plus ther are other good side-effects of working out.

But realize that working out for 20 or 30 minutes you may burn ~300 calories, but eat one bagel and that is 300 calories. ONE BAGEL cancels out 20 to 30 minutes of working out. ONE BAGEL. You have to change what and how much you eat...exercise cannot do it alone...unless your exercising like 6-8 hours a day..like an Olympian swimmer.

I suggest for starters: 1) Stop drinking any calories...stop drinking soda, juice, lemonade, sweetened tea. Drink only water black coffee, and unsweetened tea. 2) Stop eating out. Make all your food at home. You can buy good frozen meals from lean cuisine, if you prefer (I do). 3) Eat smaller portions 4) Stop snacking, especially after about 6PM. 5) Its OK to not be completely full...its OK to be a little bit hungry even after just eating...never stuff yourself...only eat just enough. and If your not sure, then you should probably just stop eating. But make sure what you are eating is good. No more candybars!

But don't listen to me...you should really see your doctor and get hi/her thoughts. There are people out there that specialize in this stuff and are there to help.
