Sadly, that won't work. We didn't buy her any presents for St. Nicholas (a holiday over here were kids also get presents, and it's on the 6th of December) as a punishment for her being evil, but all the neighbours and her godparents brought her presents anyway.

Did you tell everyone what you were doing? I don't think people would give her many presents if your parents told them not to and explained why, would they?

It's not sharing dirty laundry. Not like if you have to tell them why she's being punished, just "hey, hi, look, we're not giving her any presents this year since she did some shit, we'd appreciate if you help at that."

I mean, how did you expect it to work withouth doing that? You don't really need to tell them what the reasons are. Now, if you are so reserved you (you all, as a family) won't say that even to her grandparents well, that sucks :/

Oh, and isn't that just wat you're doing? Sharing it with the whole world? :P
