Normally I'd say that'd be a normal thing to say, if not for many people who still find Forza 3 better then GT5.

Metacritic is one of them. I guess this just shows that dev time seriously doesn't seem to mean jack this gen, for the most part. Uncharted 2 and Mass Effect 2 are some of the highest rated games, and they came out 2(?) years after the originals.

Edit: my bad. 2 years and 2 months.

But have you asked yourself how much they took to make the original... as someone said before depends on going from scratch or just uping.
