Actually the Cowboys were playing, they were hoping to get some records for their team and its players, face it you can make all the exuses you want but they steamrolled the cowboys, while the cowboys were actually trying, yeah it was two touchdowns at the half, but the cowboys offense had been shutdown all night and their defense outmanuevared, as for the 5-7 team, different QB and a new fire, they'll beat past the hawks and then roll over the boys, I hear green bay is cold and crisp this time of year

Getting 'team records' is HARDLY motivation for playing hard in a meaningless game, one week before the post season. Why on EARTH would you risk injury for crap like that????

Different QB? So that's what you're pinning the Redskins' chances on? A career backup who's spent 13 years warming the pine? Give me a break - every year it's a QB issue with the 'Skins. Wasn't Jason Campbell supposed to be the saviour this year? And let me guess, after the 'Skins get bumped from the playoffs, Todd Collins will be the saviour next year...      ...until they get off to another 5-7 start - then it'll be some other guy's chance to be the saviour, right?

And making excuses? I could say the same to you - you're dismissing 3/4 of the entire football season because it doesn't suit your argument very well. Other than the QB - what else has changed about this team? Shawn Taylor? Yes - that is an absurd tragedy, but MANY teams have had heart-breaking tragedies befell them and they don't automatically turn in a championship season in response. That's called a 'fairy tale' ending and they rarely happen (hence, the name).

The 'Boys already beat 'em in Dallas (which, of course, means nothing to you) and they'll do it again if they have to...    ...but at this point, I think you're looking too far ahead - you've gotta get out of Seattle yet and depending on which Seahawk team decides to show up that day, you might have a problem.  :P

They did risk injury, Romo had to limp off the field at the half, yeah it was stupid on their part, but the cowboys were trying, it wasn't meaningless to them, otherwise they wouldn't have risked Romo and instead tried for a FG.

The boys beat them in Dallas under a very green QB, Collins knows the offense much better
