PS3 following in the PSP's footsteps?

WII is for EVERYONE

i have both wii and ps3, i'm not a hard-core gamer as you may call it, but i prefer Wii, although they are both are awesome, Wii is more Fun to play, Ps3 is like Ps2 with better graphics, which is NOT enough to cause people to waste their money to get one!!!

 

I'll ask you a question, why can't we have games which are both fun and have great graphics?

Because these "Great Graphics", as you put it, this generation come at a heafty price for both consumer and developer.

Yes, but they still exist. I am sure many people will agree Uncharted, Ratchet, Bioshock, AC and CoD all had graphics and gameplay

Gameplay no better than any of the last generations with an analog stick. I Hope those graphics simply just "existing" is more than enough to compensate for the fact that they've handicapped the HD consoles in more ways than one. By your logic, if better graphics exist, and they do, and that's more than enough reason to demand them as the standard, why not just get a top of the line PC with even better gameplay (mouse & keyboard)? What? Too expensive you say? Well I guess you finally realized the dillemma with exceedingly expensive products vs more economic and appealing competitors.

Was one more generation really too much to wait for you to have those graphics? Did you really have to have them now at the cost of losing the lead to Nintendo? Was it worth alienating "Hardcore" genres even more?

Well I guess we can find a positive in anything though. While Nintendo is comfortably making an astronomical profit this generation with economic graphics they'll be more than ready next gen to take advantage of all the money Sony and Microsoft lost this generation inbuilding up the Industry's development standards and infrastructure to this unrealistic standard of graphics they've touted, which by next gen will be more than economic if by no other means than the fact that Sony and MS made it so at their own expense and loss this generation.

 

You're assuming here that gameplay on the Wii would be worse if it were just the old Gamecube controller.  Good luck proving that one.
