Why?

It's going the complete opposite direction of what the fans of the game like about the game.  It would be like if Nintendo released a trailer for Donkey Kong Country set in the styles of Gears of War.

Aren't you implying that the game looks bad?

I'm implying that it doesn't look like an SSX game.

The name of the game shouldn't be so important.

For SSX fans waiting years to get this, the name is very important.
