Okay first off you go now to http://www.4players.de/4players.php/download_info/PC-CDROM/Download/44299.html and download the demo from lego star wars :) It's a great game, I have it for Wii and its definitively worth a buy. Huge replay value, a whole lot of fun for fans, but also sometimes a little frutrating as mentioned. But overall it's fun and that is what counts. As for DBZ, I have part 1 only and I have to say it was fun and had a good flair from the series. Part 3 is, from what I heard, a whole lot better so I guess that's a good choice too.
I would say test the demo and if you like the style and stuff, else you go with DBZ first and with lego later or not after all. :)
