"The Uncharted 3 pic which CGI posted is ingame engine, so what's the problem?"

As the developer has - finally - admitted, particularly with this franchise. It's a pre-rendered video.  This topic is a real-time graphics comparison, not a pre-rendered movie comparison.

"Is still debatable the whole argument between in-engine with ingame assets vs in-game cutscenes and shit?"

Yes, quite. It's still a video in the end.  At the end of the day, the Uncharted trailer was about as much real-time as any of the other pre-rendered trailers out there. Not. at. all.

"It's a PS3 game."

Oh how very droll. Grow up. More astute readers less on the defensive, would keenly notice I haven't raised issue with the other PS3 game (Killzone 3) because that's an actual gameplay screenshot and 2, Guerilla actually rose to the challange like hugry devs do and decided not to cheap out by pulling video captures for their cinematics.

As proof, you see I am against using pre-rendered videos of "in engine" graphics of a *not* PS3 game.

I would not have a problem if the TC had actually shown an actual gameplay (or real time) screen shot of Uncharted 3, I even provided him with one, but he doesn't seem to want to.

But then the TC does have a history of making graphics comparisons based on concept renders as opposed to real-time screenshots.

"There is a difference between in-engine and in-game so no surprise that people here are easily fooled."

Well not really, in-engine and in-game are interchangeable, that's not the important term though. The important terms are: 1) Real time, 2) Pre-rendered

A video could by it's nature, never be real time.

"I didn't say there is none :/ What I meant was that you don't see a difference in Uncharted 2..."

Just because you do not does not mean it is not there and that others do not see it. I called it back in 2008 when the original Uncharted 2 trailer aired and a million fanboys rallied to declare it real-time. 1 year later, that "real time" cutscene is a video file. To me the divide  is as obvious as a Wii game to a HD game.

"Well, they certainly didn't specify which version of the game they were showing.  One would be careful not to be so naive as to forget the PC version of the XBox 360 controller. ^_-"

Live demo with Sessler had the Xbox 360 version where he proclaimed that "no console game should look this good"
