"You guys...?"  I for one hardly mentioned it.  But don't you think it's kind of ironic for one to claim that Microsoft is being smart by shying from overhype but yet it's a tactic they recently employed?  I'm not criticizing Microsoft here.  Just pointing out the irony of claimed situations.

I think the point he is making is that the 500m ad campaign isn't unusual in this industry in this quarter.

But of course.  But it's still a lot of hype.
