What games have truly awed you?

BioShock (I highly anticipated this game, and it blew me away; the art style and atmosphere were unique and amazing, and the story was ambitious)

Chrono Trigger (I played it for the first time last year on the DS and was simply amazed at how well the game held up; I was barely feeling like I was playing a 1995 game; probably would've had a hear attack had I played it when it first came out - it was never released on the SNES in Europe)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (like many on here, it was my first current gen game; of course I was amazed)

Gears of War (what blew me away about this game was mostly the graphics; a simply beautiful game)

God of War (I have always dreamt of playing an amazing action/adventure game in Greek mythology, so it's no surprise I was like "hell yeah!" when I got my hands on this)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (same as Chrono Trigger, though I played it much much closer to the game's original release, and I was simply amazed by the games overall quality; simply magical)

Okami (amazing art style brush techique the fact that I could buy it, as it's very hard to find in my country)

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (the time rewinding mechanism was one of the awsomest things I'd ever seen at the time)

Pokemon Blue (I first experienced the magic of Pokemon with the anime, so when I got my hands on this I just couldn't put it down)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (This is such a good Star Wars game, that it puts the movies to shame)
