Simple enough question if you had to pay for the PS3 online access would you? How much would you expect it to cost. What kind of service would you expect for the fee. What would you expect to lose if you did not. All interesting questions especially since Sony seems to be asking them of their asian customers. The question is to those who own a PS3 how would you feel if your free service, became a pay service. Technically Sony is aloud to start charging for an advertised free service review your terms of service. They really do have a blank check to do what they want. Ask those that have played Sony's online gaming in the past. Anyway what are everyones thoughts.

Reports suggest Sony could be considering charging a subscription fee for some parts of its PlayStation Network service - a la Xbox Live.CVG cites a questionnaire sent out by Sony to PC gamers in Asia asking them whether they would consider paying for some elements of the PlayStation Network.
The payment would take the form of a monthly subscription fee - according to the questionnaire - although it's not clear what benefit there would be for the gamer.
Nervous PSN members should probably calm themselves, however, as a questionnaire for the Asian market is hardly damning evidence that subscription charges are on their way to the west.
