I acknowledge that Gears of War is the highest selling new IP on HD consoles, which is a great feat considering it was only 2 games on 1 console (not counting PC sales even). (a) So you admit that you're quibbling over 3 points and a bunch of GOTY awards in a year Gears of War 2 wasn't released? Ok, fair enough.

How was he quibbling? He  stated that U2 & ME2 were rated higher than gears 2, which is a fact. Then he stated how Gears 1 was rated higher than both which is a fact.
It's not like he took that fact and made a whole story on how Gears 2 was an inferior game.
