I think an official trailer reveal of a just announced game (u3) and a game heavily rummored(ME3) would create more buzz than just another gameplay trailer of a game that already has been announced and is already anticipated.

Exactly, that's how i took it as well. We know Gears is the bigger selling franchise, but by overshadowed i took it as just in the moment hype. UC and ME are game of the year franchises and nothing to snuff at. Gears 3 was already announced so i already had my hype moment for that and a new feature or kinect is not going to do it for me now. But the other 2 would.

Great to see someone understands. Some people on this site over react when they think their favorite console/franchise seems to get bashed.
