Original "Spy Kids" Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara, as well as their onscreen dad, Antonio Banderas, are expected to play supporting roles. Production is set to begin next month.

Back then everyone wanted to be a Spy Kid. I remember always having day dreams about being one. It was nonstop imagination. So I am thrilled with this news. So don't bash this franchise! I am aware of its flaws.
