Sony haven`t released it`s BIG games yet.
PS3 sales are NORMAL according with price + cheaper competitors.
x360 premium with 2 games cost 349$.
Wii with 1 game cost 249$.
PS3 40GB witb 1 blu-ray movie cost 399$ STILL was able to outsell x360 in December.
But in general, till people will have more cheaper alternative, till there will be slow PS3 sales in USA compared to other consoles.
Of`course, when BIG games will be out, price and cheaper deals won`t be so attractive as PS3 games like KZ2, LBP, MGS4, FFXIII, GT5 and etc.
It`s a matter of TIME only, before PS3 will start outselling x360 in USA.
Just for the records, PS3 is doing FINE in Europe.

PS2 launched after 6 month since Japan launch.
PS3 launched after 4 month since Japan launch.
After 16 week PS3 will be able to get some boost because of GTA4, GT5P, MGS4 and IF KZ2 + LBP and IF price cut or some bundle.
In Japan PS3 also need more Japanese games, like DMC4, ES, LP, AC6, MGS4, WKS, FFXIII and etc. When these games will be released, it will easy catch up PS2 sales.
