Because its not a mobile phone. There is only room it seems for one dedicated mobile gaming device, and thats going to be the 3DS, though not for long. Dedicated devices are going to be dwarfed by cell phone gaming.

The end is nigh.

People still want dedicated machines along with their casual "do everything, but meh machine".

Less and less will want this. Pockets are overflowing. Once you look at the age group that carry their cell phone with them at all times you will see the dedicated devices decline.

I already don't use my DS/PSP as a mobile device. They sit at home and are only ever played at home. Soon enough when those games like Final Fantasy start poping up on iOS and android phones there won't even be a reason to buy a PSP or DS.

I don't play on the go really much... but i don't think Square-Enix will start putting weekly Final Fantasy on cellphones for 5 dolars... in my cell i just put free games, i just play it now and then. My PSP (that actually my fiancè plays) have way more games.
